Vote Reward Suggestions.

I would strongly suggest that Reputation with a faction is part of the vote reward or donation reward system. being exalted cant get u amazing gear so no danger in someone having an unfair adavantge. I just want my schematic for my "Hog/Chopper" which is currently very difficult to get (not even sure its possible)

Gaining reputation is achievement. Unfair to put in vote reward I think.Cuz some can vote heavily some are restricted to vote twice per day.
If you mean for donation reward , I neither agree or disagree.

some really nice patterns comes from reputation factions. having those patterns when very few others have it can give you easy access to lots of people's ingame wallets. you mention those engineering mounts. imagine you're the only person on the server that have access to that pattern, how easy wouldn't it be to make insane money from that?

I would agree with unobtainable faction rewards if instead of directly adding the rep, it gave you an item that had a cooldown (a custom item in this case), and a price that both people with fixed and random ip could get at the same rate. Example: item gives 1k rep and costs 1vote point (1k rep is usually the minimum you can get per day on retail, though for most factions you can get more) but the item has exactly 1 day cd. you can buy many many many with a random ip, but doesnt matter, you wont get more rep cause of that. Best advantage you would have is to buy with many factions and that is all.

That is only for when they are unobtainable or too hard to get due to bugs. As they get something closer to normal, I assume their items should be removed. Since the reason for them to become vote rewards is that there is no way(yet) to get or are way harder to get than what is expected, when the condition is not there they should be removed.

TBH I vote every time I surf that I am able to just because it's so easy and I'm accumulating points for such a time as there are actually rewards.

even 5G per x (small amount of) points would keep me voting forever.
Maybe 5G per vote, 5G per 24 hrs wouldn't be game-breaking...

The one before was limitless and by a great amount, that surely wouldn't work well. If it was a daily amount (small, good for lowbies, kek for high levels), I don't see any problem.

That was my intent, something to nudge lowbies along and highbies could have a different reward.

Unless they just want that tiny trickle of gold.

the currently no1 server has this and it seems to be working out well for them...we need to think up of a new strategy to get people to vote

I think it would be great to see the low cost donation rewards as high cost vote rewards, things like:

• Character Transfer ($5 USD)
• Character Rename ($5 USD)
• Character Re-Customization ($15 USD)

Personally, (and I know a lot of other people have this issue) I play on a private server because of the fact that I simply do not have money to pay for WoW. However it would be fun to be able to do a recustomize every once in a while, and the character transfer would also be useful for cases in which someone had two characters on the same account that they wanted to dual-box.

The staff will probably balk at this due to the fact that they don't want to limit the funds coming in, but I think it would get a lot more people to vote more regularly, which in turn would bring more population, which should bring in more revenue for the server.

Maybe we could also add a vote reward of a VIP account for 100,000 votes? :P

No. It should never happen.
Calculate (100,000*12) Hrs it will take for normal voters. That is 50,000 Days.

So the guy who will claim to have that much vote; exploited the system, which proves getting vote point is that easy for him.

Also VIP account are donation rewards can never be compared with vote rewards.

I am against this idea.

P.S. I guess you can do it , so please vote for P-WOW ( Not Vote point collecting, vote in a way,that it counts in Extreme Top. you know what I mean.)

And the gold per vote reward is a very good idea for the fun and mid rate server.Because lowbies actually dont have lot of sources to gain gold, it would actually get people to vote more.Maybe 5 gold per vote , which is currently implemented in the number one server, is good.And as for dgb , reduce the amount of gold or increase the number of votes to maintain the balance :P

Right now there is a tree with gifts, but the gift for the snowmaster schematic isn't there, so:

Also the patterns for Red Winter Cloths, and Green Winter Cloths(cloths,hats and boots). I think in retail they mail them to all the tailors, but I doubt it will work here. Some of them are sold of course on the event itself.

Unfortunately that's true, some time ago I deleted a "guide" that was published here which was actually "hack" to get reward points.
